Speaking about his motivation to get involved Rob said “His nephew had attended the previous setting and his niece attends Phoenix where they have both thrived in the caring, nurturing environment. When I heard that the previous setting was being closed against the will of the staff and parents I wanted to use my 25 years plus Governance and Trustee experience to help establish Phoenix. This included being the Chair of a local Multi Academy Trust with 7 primary schools”

Rob is retired having worked for Barclays Bank for 43 years. His career included many years training and coaching Business Managers about Businesses and Charities including analysing Business Financial Accounts.
