Dear Parents and Carers

We have really enjoyed sharing your family and holiday photographs this week with some interesting conversations and fantastic language from so many children.  Unfortunately our small group work had to be postponed because of a visit from one of our Area SEND managers so will tag onto next week.

Next week our theme for the week will be part 1 of “What I can do”, our older children will be displaying their understanding and description of “how?” and “why” and our younger children and new starters will also be identifying action words by pointing to the right picture or by giving a description.

Whilst we are entering the season of autumn, if you find any conkers, acorns, chestnuts, pine cones or fallen coloured leaves we would love to have them please to build up a small display of signs of autumn.

Monday afternoons – Get ready for Phoenix Early Explorers

If you don’t want to miss out on this, there is always the opportunity to sign up for Mondays with me.  We are also takng the opportunity to go out and about for a short while on Friday afternoons whilst our group is smaller.  Please let me know if you are not happy with this.

As always, we give a very warm invitation to you all to join with us at Southborough Lane Baptist Church on Sunday mornings from 10.30.  Plus a date for your diaries – on the afternoon of Sunday 27th there will also be Family Fun@4 to which you are also invited -come and meet our Children and Families worker, Matthew, who was once my key child and catch up with some of the children who were at PEL last term (and some who are here now)!
